Now copy the folder named wordpress in wordpress 4.1 and paste it into

C://XAMPP//HTDOC

Now rename the folder "wordpress" with your required web URL you want.

Here the journey Starts.

Open XAMPP control panel from program files and enable first two options. Your computer may ask your to allow permission. Click allow.

Now open your webbrowser. Mozilla or chrome.

In the address bar type.

localhost/phymyadmin and click go.

Now you will see a window like this, Click Data Base on the top left menu as directed by the arrow.

When you click database, you will see a screen of existing databases. Do not touch any of these.

Type The new database name and click create.

Now open is web browser, localhost/wordpress  (your renamed name)

The First window you'll see will be asking to chose your language you want to install wordpress in.

Now chose your language and click Continue.

Another window will be opened and that's just for the confirmation that thing you'll need to input when you setup. Just click "Let's Go!" there.

Now you are on the place where you need to remember with which name you created database in PHPmyAdmin.

put information there. For example it input WP which was the name i created database in PHPmyadmin with.

Further, username will be  :  "root"

Leave the password blank and click Submit.

In case you entered wrong name of the database, it will show you an error. But i told you the right path. It will be asking you to run the install.

Click Run the Install.

Now this is the final step to set up wordpress on local host.

Input your required site name, username to login into Admin section and password thereof in the respective fields.

Now click Install wordpress and click login in the next screen.

The wp-login window to login into your wordpress site admin dashboard is before your.

Input the login credentials and Lets rock.

To Do Before Migrating to Self Hosted WordPress

1. A Hosting account (From Godaddy hosting or Blue Host) and a purchased Domain(From Godaddy, Namecheep or Bigrock).
2. Exoprted Data File Including Posts, Pages, Comments Etc.
3. Delete the Wordpress.com blog and remove it from Search Engine Databases
4. Newly Installed Wordpress CMS on your hosting Account.

Export Data in XML file from WordPress dot Com

This task generate an XML file that can be uploaded on your wordpress.org self hosted blog. Now Lets Start it out.

Go to Wp-Admin dashboard of your blog and Find Tools menu there. Click Export in that submenu.

On clicking Tools, you will see a window asking to chose the type of export with respective pricing thereof. Don't mind the second type and Just click the first one Export.

Now when you clicked Export, you are on the screen where you are urged to select the type of content you want to export in the XML file like Posts, Pages, Testimonials and else.

The ideal manner to export XML file is All content. Now click Download Export File and Save that On your Drive.

Import the XML file into your WordPress.org Blog

Now its the time to import overall data into your own hosted WordPress blog. Posts, Pages and comments are going to be live on your blog just with a single click.

Delete WordPress.com blog

Now this is optional that you delete old WordPress.com blog or retain it with your WordPress account.  To delete your old .com blog, easily navigate to Tools >> Delete Site. And click Delete. Now you will receive an email asking you to confirm site delete. Confirm and delete it.
