Atleast You must Worry about Page Speed

Tags

Do you ever check the page speed of your blog or website?
Does the page of your blog or website load very quickly?
If your answer is, "No never i don't", your pages might be getting low rank than they deserve and all this just because of large page size and load time.
Atleast You must Worry about Page Speed

Ok, Let me tell you more in depth.
Whenever a bot (crawler) visits your site or blog, it records everything in its data base.
Viz Images size, text content, links, dofollow links, follow links and much more.
It is very embarrassing when the crawler can not visit your site in the ideal page load time.
If it does in the time but take more than other pages, it will rank those else pages above your one.
So, in this way you miss the juice of getting high rankings with your unique content.

Yes, Content matters but page load time and page size is also something that is inevitable part of your on page optimization. You will succeed ranking you blog in the case when the page load time is less than others and loads faster than your competitors.

I always look for page speed and load time, whenever i create a new blog or work on the on-page optimization of any blog.

You too can check the page load time with some free tools.

  1. The tool I love is (PingDom)
  2. Another tool that can give you correct statistics about your page speed - (I WebTool Speed Test)
I've gathered some ways to improve the page size and loading time of your webpage.
With these ways, you will be increasing you search engine rankings too.

How to Improve Page Load Time and Page Speed

  1. Avoid use of large images.
  2. Stay away from excessive widgets on your blog.
  3. Make it as simple as you can.
  4. Try to use colors, rather than images for background.
  5. Avoid more scripts.
  6. Use least external CSS.
  7. Low down the resolution of vectors.
If you don't know how to optimize your webpage, you can use Google's guide to improve you page insights (Google Page Speed Insights).
Hope you enjoyed the post. Thanks.
