Nah, i don't think so. Any figure is less for me.
At-least create the fan following and then post some useful content or gather some influencers and make them your followers with the help of your compelling content.

I personally never understood the real meaning of Compelling and Quality content, yet i try to explain it."
Compelling Content is what a user like to read and act upon. In other words, content that can ask users to do what the writer wants, is the ideal example of compelling content.
I read it on backlinko.com that, compelling is every word that converts or plays even a little role in conversion. So, never hesitate in expressing every topic in your own developed manner and style.
Even i love the way how Jimmy writes about Weight loss. Because there is something unique in his content and he always express everything derisively.
Now you would be thinking, "What should i ask my visitors to do while they read my posts?"
How stupid the question is!
The aim of your writing was "create readership". I think you forgot.
The action you must be expecting should be "Compel your visitor to read until the post reach the end." If your readers are reading your posts as a whole, its a sign of, "Increasing readership."
When ever you illustrate any topic or any fact, try to give a proper vector of that and use well known names as much as possible.
